Creating A Vision To Live By

Have you heard of manifest journaling

I remember reading about it some years ago, but if I’m being honest - I never took it too seriously.

Until I incorporated it into my morning routine.

Every day when I wake up, before I open any app on my phone & before I even get out of bed, I grab my journal and a pen and start writing.

I write about things that are going to happen, or that I want to happen, and I write about them as if they are already real and true.

I write about how joyful or content I am because I’ve accomplished a goal of mine. I write about how focused I am in choosing myself and my health. I write about what the day feels like when I come home to my family. I write about what I wear when I walk down the street and know that I am that bish.

I write about my dreams and goals as if they are happening right now or happened yesterday. And I always wrap gratitude into each vision I’m creating.

I am” sentences are a great place to get started.

Having a feeling that resembles a sense of pride and belief in where you’re going does something to you as you start your day. There is no dread because you feel accomplished, there is no disappointment because you’re envisioning the great things you’ve done - before they even happen.

Then on my morning walk outside, I repeat 2-3 mantras that are relevant to the day or time in my life. Sometimes I repeat them the whole time, other times I let the birds and smells distract me - so when I return to repeating my mantra there is such a still joy in my heart that I can actually feel the mantras becoming part of my heartbeat.

These are both small practices that have a tremendous impact on how I want my life to be in 5-10 and 50 years.

They can do the same for you. It all starts with a tiny bit of belief.

Creating the vision of the life you want to be living really rests with intention.

And it’s a choice.

Do you want to wake up and start beating yourself up?
Or do you want to work on uplifting yourself and stand on a platform of reassurance?

Your thoughts - after all - do create your reality.
